AN ACT CONCERNING PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR DISABLED VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 203 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any resident of this state who has served, or is serving, in the armed forces of the United States and has a disability rating by the Veterans' Administration of the United States amounting to ten per cent or more of total disability shall be entitled to a property tax exemption in the same amount as a veteran or servicemen with a total disability rating.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that a partially disabled veteran shall be entitled to a property tax exemption in the same amount as a veteran with a total disability rating.
