AN ACT ELIMINATING THE FOOD SERVICE PERMIT FEE FOR FARMERS' MARKETS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368a of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Public Health to instruct local health districts that they are to eliminate the assessment of a food service permit fee for businesses that participate in farmers' markets.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce expenses for businesses participating in farmers' markets by eliminating food service permit fees.
