AN ACT EXPANDING THE PATIENT BILL OF RIGHTS FOR LONG-TERM CARE RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-550 of the general statutes be amended to include transfers of a resident within a long-term care facility among those transfers governed by the nursing home patients' bill of rights.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand patient rights regarding transfers within a long-term care facility.
