AN ACT INCREASING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR GRANDPARENTS AND OTHER NONPARENT RELATIVES RAISING NEEDY CHILDREN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-112 of the general statutes be amended to increase financial assistance to grandparents and other nonparent relatives raising children in poverty or those whose families have been affected by the opioid crisis.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide financial assistance to grandparents and nonparent relatives raising children affected by poverty or the opioid crisis.
