AN ACT CONCERNING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILD CARE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 17b-749 of the general statutes be amended to incorporate the professional development standards for the National Association for the Education of Young Children and Head Start in the Care 4 Kids program.

Statement of Purpose:

To satisfy and surpass licensing requirements for Care 4 Kids services and programs by recognizing professional development utilized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and Head Start.
