AN ACT ADDING MEMBERS TO THE JOINT ENFORCEMENT COMMISSION ON WORKER MISCLASSIFICATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Subsection (a) of section 31-57h of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage):

(a) There is established a joint enforcement commission on employee misclassification. The commission shall consist of the Labor Commissioner, the Commissioner of Revenue Services, the Insurance Commissioner, the Commissioner of Consumer Protection, the chairperson of the Workers' Compensation Commission, the Attorney General and the Chief State's Attorney, or their designees.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
