AN ACT CONCERNING THE ALLOCATION OF TEMPORARY FAMILY ASSISTANCE DOLLARS TO COVER CHILD CARE SHORTFALLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 4 of the general statutes be amended to authorize the Office of Policy and Management to transfer dollars within the temporary family assistance (TFA) grant to cover shortfalls in the Care 4 Kids program established pursuant to section 17b-749 of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit the allocation of funds from the federal TFA grant to cover shortfalls in the TFA-funded Care 4 Kids program.
