AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INSURANCE COPAYMENTS AND PREMIUMS PAID BY STATE EMPLOYEES AND OFFICIALS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to, effective immediately, for all state employees and officials exempt from classified service, and applicable to employees included in any collective bargaining agreement negotiated after the passage of this act, increase copayments and premiums for all state employees.

Statement of Purpose:

To create parity between state and private health insurance plans.
