AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DATE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY DECLARATIONS AND PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS BY FARMERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish one date on which farmers are required to submit personal property declarations and file property tax exemptions.

Statement of Purpose:

To make the statutes consistent with regard to the date on which framers have to submit personal property tax declarations and claims for exemptions.
