AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID REFORM TO PROMOTE AGING IN PLACE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require reform in the Medicaid system to promote aging in place and independent living for elderly persons and persons with disabilities.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase opportunities for senior citizens and persons with disabilities to age in place in their communities and live independently.
