AN ACT CONCERNING SIGNAGE FOR SITES ON THE CONNECTICUT ANTIQUES TRAIL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes or any municipal zoning ordinance or regulation, except those ordinances or regulations pertaining to the size of signage or flags, a business identified by the Department of Economic and Community Development as being on the Connecticut antiques trail, established pursuant to section 32-6u of the general statutes, may display temporary signage or flags, for not more than sixteen hours each day, indicating that the business is on such trail.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
