AN ACT CONCERNING HOSPITAL AND WELLNESS ENTERPRISE ZONES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 585 of the general statutes be amended to establish a hospital and wellness enterprise zone program that would authorize the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development to approve enterprise zones in areas surrounding hospitals.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish an enterprise zone program to encourage development around hospitals in the state.
