AN ACT RESTRICTING THE USE OF INCENTIVES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOLAR ARRAYS ON AGRICULTURAL LAND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to restrict the use of incentives for the development of solar arrays on agricultural land for the purpose of reselling excess energy produced back into the grid.
Statement of Purpose:
To restrict the use of incentives for the development of solar arrays on agricultural land to protect farmland against large-scale solar development.
