AN ACT ALLOWING MOTOR VEHICLE AND BOAT REGISTRATIONS TO BE VALID FOR THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE OR BOAT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide that any motor vehicle or boat registration issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles shall be valid for the life of the motor vehicle or boat.

Statement of Purpose:

To eliminate the need to renew registrations for motor vehicles and boats.
