AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR PREVENTIVE CARE PROVIDED TO FEMALE ENROLLEES AND ACCESS TO PRESCRIPTION CONTRACEPTIVE METHODS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to (1) incorporate provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, P.L. 111-148, as amended from time to time, concerning preventive care provided to female enrollees, and (2) improve access to prescription contraceptive methods.
Statement of Purpose:
To incorporate into the general statutes provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act concerning preventive care provided to female enrollees and improve access to prescription contraceptive methods.
