Summary

As introduced Bill 25-744 would raise the pay for youth ages 14-15 from $6.25 to $10.00 per hour and would also raise the pay for youth above 16 years old to the minimum wage (currently $17.00 per hour) to incentivize older youth to actively participate in the SYEP program. FISCAL NOTE - This bill is Subject to Appropriations. Please see the Fiscal Impact Statement for more information.
