Summary
As introduced Bill 25-796 would clarify that 911 call records cannot be withheld under the personal privacy exemption of the Freedom of Information Act. It prevents exemptions of information regarding government misconduct in inter-agency or intra agency memoranda. It would, among other things, also require the disclosure of information withheld under the deliberative process if the public’s interest in disclosure outweighs the District’s interest in secrecy.
