Summary

This bill creates comprehensive requirements for the conducting of benefits managers’ audits. In particular, this bill establishes requirements regarding timing of audits, notice, consistent audit processes, audit reports, overpayment and underpayment satisfaction, and internal appeals. The requirements will not apply to audits conducted due to suspected fraud or misrepresentation
