Summary

This resolution encourages conformance with the law prohibiting the use of electronic communication devices while operating a motor vehicle on the highways of the State of Delaware, encourages cell phone carriers, automobile manufacturers, and cell phone manufacturers to continue public awareness campaigns, and further encourages cell phone carriers, automobile manufacturers, and cell phone manufacturers to adopt and implement, as quickly as possible, available technologies that will allow their customers to restrict the use of their cell phones while driving.
