HOUSE BILL NO. 18

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLES 3, 12, AND 30 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE ESTATE TAX.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Strike Chapter 15, Title 30 of the Delaware Code in its entirety.

Section 2.Strike §2304, Chapter 23, Title 12 of the Delaware Code in its entirety.

Section 3. Strike §918, Chapter 9, Title 3 of the Delaware Code in its entirety.

Section 4.This Act becomes effective on July 1, 2011.

SYNOPSIS

This bill repeals the Delaware Estate Tax as of July 1, 2011.
