AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE MERIT SYSTEM OF PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION. |
Section 1. Amend Chapter 59, Title 29 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as shown by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows:
§ 5937 Interview for current casual seasonal employees.
The rules shall provide for an automatic interview for an applicant who is a casual seasonal employee working in the same position in the division and section for the posted position provided the casual seasonal employee meets the minimum qualifications and any preferential or selective qualifications included in the posting.
Section 2. This Act shall be effective 180 days after its enactment.
SYNOPSIS
This bill provides for an automatic interview to be given to an applicant for a merit position who is already employed by the State as a casual seasonal doing the same job. |
