Subsections (1) and (2) of section 465.189, 7 Florida Statutes, are amended to read: 8 465.189 Administration of vaccines and epinephrine 9 autoinjection.— 10 (1) In accordance with guidelines of the Centers for 11 Disease Control and Prevention for each recommended immunization 12 or vaccine, a pharmacist may administer the following vaccines 13 to an adult within the framework of an established protocol 14 under a supervising physician licensed under chapter 458 or 15 chapter 459: 16 (a) Influenza vaccine. 17 (b) Pneumococcal vaccine. 18 (c) Meningococcal vaccine. 19 (d) Shingles vaccine. 20(2) In accordance with guidelines of the Centers for Disease21Control and Prevention, a pharmacist may administer the shingles22vaccine within the framework of an established protocol and23pursuant to a written or electronic prescription issued to the24patient by a physician licensed under chapter 458 or chapter25459.26 27 28 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 29 And the title is amended as follows: 30 Between lines 335 and 336 31 insert: 32 amending.
