       Senator Hays moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (402196) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 120 and 121
    5  insert:
    6         Section 56. Subsections (1) and (2) of section 465.189,
    7  Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
    8         465.189 Administration of vaccines and epinephrine
    9  autoinjection.—
   10         (1) In accordance with guidelines of the Centers for
   11  Disease Control and Prevention for each recommended immunization
   12  or vaccine, a pharmacist may administer the following vaccines
   13  to an adult within the framework of an established protocol
   14  under a supervising physician licensed under chapter 458 or
   15  chapter 459:
   16         (a) Influenza vaccine.
   17         (b) Pneumococcal vaccine.
   18         (c) Meningococcal vaccine.
   19         (d) Shingles vaccine.
   20  (2) In accordance with guidelines of the Centers for Disease
   21  Control and Prevention, a pharmacist may administer the shingles
   22  vaccine within the framework of an established protocol and
   23  pursuant to a written or electronic prescription issued to the
   24  patient by a physician licensed under chapter 458 or chapter
   25  459.

   32         amending. S. 465.189, F.S.; authorizing pharmacists to
   33         administer meningococcal and shingles vaccines under
   34         certain circumstances;
