Summary

Prohibits any utility from terminating senior citizen's or low-income family's gas or electric service for nonpayment on any day, or on following 2 calendar days, during which National Weather Service forecasts extreme temperatures in area of utility in which senior citizen or low-income family resides; prohibits any utility from terminating senior citizen's or low-income family's gas or electric service for nonpayment on any day preceding holiday or weekend during which National Weather Service forecasts extreme temperatures in area of utility in which senior citizen or low-income family resides.
