Summary

Provides that an officer or employee of law enforcement agency is not required to provide notice to DCF of reasonable cause to suspect child abuse by an adult other than parent, legal custodian, caregiver or other person responsible for child's welfare, when incident under investigation by law enforcement agency was reported to law enforcement by Central Abuse Hotline; provides that hotline is not required to electronically transfer calls & reports received pursuant to specified provisions to county sheriff's office if matter was initially reported to DCF by sheriff's office or another law enforcement agency; provides applicability.
