Summary

Provides that child support obligor may avoid suspension of driver license & vehicle registration by beginning to pay obligation by income deduction within specified period; provides that garnishee may consent to receive certain notices by secure e-mail or fax; requires establishment of automated method for CFO to periodically provide DOR electronic file of individuals to whom state pays money for goods or services or who lease real property to state; requires garnishment of such payments for past due or overdue support; deletes provisions requiring DOR to provide certain information to CFO for such purpose; revises provisions concerning use of unclaimed property for collection of past due support; revises language concerning who may cause certain liens to be placed for unpaid & delinquent support; authorizes liens on claim, settlement, or judgment that may result in payment to obligor; provides for notice to obligor; provides requirements for such notice.
