Summary
Creating the program within the Department of Economic Opportunity; requiring that film, television, and digital media projects being produced in this state meet specified criteria to be eligible for rebates; requiring the Commissioner of Film and Entertainment to set application windows; requiring the Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Council to determine a score for each qualified project using specified criteria; requiring certified projects to allow certain persons to visit the production site upon request of the commissioner and after providing the commissioner with reasonable notice; providing for liability and imposing civil penalties for an applicant that submits fraudulent information, etc.
