Summary

Authorizing the Construction Industry Licensing Board to take specified actions against any certificateholder or registrant if a contractor, a financially responsible officer, or a certain business organization is found guilty of failing to properly close any permit or satisfy any applicable permit requirement; requiring the Florida Building Commission to adopt rules and amend the applicable Florida Building Code to enact procedures designed to encourage property owners and contractors to close permits properly; providing that failure to receive written notice does not relieve the contractor or property owner from taking the necessary actions to legally close a permit, etc.
