Summary
Declaring legislative priorities relating to the importation and uncontrolled breeding of dogs and cats; requiring that each public or private animal shelter, humane organization, or animal control agency operated by a humane society or by a county, municipality, or other incorporated political subdivision record and maintain specified records; requiring that the animal shelter, humane organization, and animal control agency make the records available to the public for a specified fee; requiring that certain tests, vaccines, and drugs be administered by a veterinarian to a dog or cat that is offered for adoption in specified circumstances and that the veterinarian issue the official certificate of veterinary inspection, etc.
