Summary

Requiring that the reservation of funds within each notice of fund availability to persons who are homeless and persons with special needs be at least 10 percent of the funds available at the time of the notice; directing the State Office on Homelessness to create a task force to make recommendations regarding the implementation of a statewide Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) subject to certain requirements; requiring the Florida Housing Finance Corporation to first distribute a certain percentage of the total amount to be distributed each fiscal year from the Local Government Housing Trust Fund to the Department of Children and Families and to the Department of Economic Opportunity, respectively, subject to certain requirements, etc.
