Florida Senate - 2011 CS for SB 782 By the Committee on Transportation; and Senator Latvala 596-02010-11 2011782c1 1 A bill to be entitled 2 An act relating to road and bridge designations; 3 designating the Sgt. Thomas J. Baitinger, Officer 4 Jeffrey A. Yaslowitz, and Officer David S. Crawford 5 Memorial Highway in Pinellas County; designating the 6 Officer Jeffrey A. Kocab and Officer David L. Curtis 7 Memorial Highway in Hillsborough County; providing an 8 effective date. 9 10 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 11 12 Section 1. Sgt. Thomas J. Baitinger, Officer Jeffrey A. 13 Yaslowitz, and Officer David S. Crawford Memorial Highway 14 designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable 15 markers.— 16 (1) State Road 687 in Pinellas County from I-275 to I-175 17 is designated as “Sgt. Thomas J. Baitinger, Officer Jeffrey A. 18 Yaslowitz, and Officer David S. Crawford Memorial Highway.” 19 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect 20 suitable markers designating the Sgt. Thomas J. Baitinger, 21 Officer Jeffrey A. Yaslowitz, and Officer David S. Crawford 22 Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1). 23 Section 2. Officer Jeffrey A. Kocab and Officer David L. 24 Curtis Memorial Highway; Department of Transportation to erect 25 suitable markers. 26 (1) State Road 583/North 50th Street in Hillsborough County 27 from Melbourne Blvd/East 21st Avenue to State Road 574/Martin 28 Luther King Jr., Blvd is designated as “Officer Jeffrey A. Kocab 29 and Officer David L. Curtis Memorial Highway.” 30 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect 31 suitable markers designating the Officer Jeffrey A Kocab and 32 Officer David L. Curtis Memorial Highway as described in 33 subsection (1). 34 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
