Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 2 of Chapter 34 of Title 43 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to medical practice, so as to require Opioid Education and Pro-Active Addiction Counseling for patients who are prescribed Schedule II or III controlled substances by physicians for chronic pain for extended periods; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
