BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 16-6-4 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
child molestation and aggravated child molestation, so as to change the
definition of aggravated child molestation; to provide for related matters; to
repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 16-6-4 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to child
molestation and aggravated child molestation, is amended by revising subsection
(c) as follows:
"(c)
A person commits the offense of aggravated child molestation when such person
commits an offense of child molestation which
act:
(1)
Physically
physically
injures the child
or;
(2)
Involves
involves
an act of
sodomy;
or
(3)
Is committed with
force."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
