Summary
Requires the Department of Human Services and Department of Health to collaborate with private entities to develop a revised methodology for determining the level of acuity of nursing facility residents who are Medicaid recipients to set reimbursements at levels that are fair and equitable. Requires the Department of Human Services and Department of Health to develop an equitable referral system relating to the discharge of all patients based on the patient's acuity level.
