Summary
Amends sections of chapter 12, HRS, to conform with an amendment to Article V, Section 2 of the Constitution of the State of Hawaii to require that a nominee for Lieutenant Governor be appointed by the gubernatorial nominee from the same political party. Takes effect upon the ratification of a constitutional amendment proposed in the 2022 general election.
