A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to debt collection.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  Chapter 28, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

     "§28-     Service of loans.  Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the attorney general shall assume the service of all loans for any executive department.  The attorney general shall take appropriate action to service all loans."

     SECTION 2.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2013.
