A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO THE PRESERVATION OF HAWAII'S MOVING IMAGES.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $236,203 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2013-2014 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 to be deposited into the ‘Ulu‘ulu:  The Henry Ku‘ualoha Giugni Moving Image Archive of Hawai‘i special fund.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the ‘Ulu‘ulu:  The Henry Ku‘ualoha Giugni Moving Image Archive of Hawai‘i special fund the sum of $236,203 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2013-2014 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 for the purposes of this Act.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the University of Hawaii to support the activities of the moving image archive.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2013.
