A BILL FOR AN ACT


 

 

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE twenty-first rePRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2009-2010.

1.   To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:

A.   Ala Wai elementary school, Oahu.

     Lower campus play courts, resurfacing      $ 35,000

          Total funding                         $ 35,000

B.   Ala Wai elementary school, Oahu.

     Ceiling mounted audio-visual

     projector in the cafeteria                 $ 30,000

          Total funding                         $ 30,000

C.   Thomas Jefferson elementary school, Oahu.

     H building restrooms, renovation           $100,000

     Reroof cafeteria due to leaking             150,000

          Total funding                         $250,000

D.   Liholiho elementary school, Oahu.

     8th and 9th avenues parking lot lights,

     construction and installation              $346,000

          Total funding                         $346,000

E.   Liholiho elementary school, Oahu.

     Field lights (3), construction and

     installation                               $248,000

          Total funding                         $248,000

F.   Liholiho elementary school, Oahu.

     Parking lot, expansion and construction    $135,000

          Total funding                         $135,000

G.   Waikiki elementary school, Oahu.

     In-school bell system, replacement         $140,000

          Total funding                         $140,000

H.   Waikiki elementary school, Oahu.

     B building, wall removal and installation  $ 60,000

          Total funding                         $ 60,000

I.   Waikiki elementary school, Oahu.

     Solar fans in cafeteria, installation      $ 45,000

          Total funding                         $ 45,000

J.   Diamond head theater.

     Planning and permitting for new building     $ 50,000

          Total funding                         $ 50,000

     SECTION 2.  The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2009.
