STATE OF HAWAII

A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to highways.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The department of land and natural resources is directed to determine and identify the persons or entities that own the fee interest and any other property interest in the following right of ways in Honolulu, Oahu:

(1) Akau lane;

(2) Eu lane; and

(3) Hikina lane.

SECTION 2. The department of land and natural resources shall submit a report setting forth its findings to the legislature at its earliest convenience but in no event less than twenty days prior to the convening of the regular session of 2010.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
