Description:

Repeals language from Act 51, Session Laws of Hawaii 2004, that specifies that the act prevails over any conflicting language in the public employment collective bargaining law on resolving conflicts between collective bargaining agreements and administrative rules and between the public employment collective bargaining law and other sources of state or local law.

A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO EDUCATION.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 

     SECTION 1.  Act 51, Session Laws of Hawaii 2004, is amended by repealing section 63.

     ["SECTION 63.  In the event of a conflict between this Act and sections 89-10() or 89-19, Hawaii Revised Statutes, this Act shall control."]

     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
