State
patrol

vehicle

replacement.

The
department
shall
provide
that
state
patrol
vehicles
used
3
for
law
enforcement
purposes
be
replaced
once
the
mileage
on
4
the
vehicle
reaches
the
applicable
mileage
limit.
For
purposes
5
of
this
section,
the
applicable
mileage
limit
shall
be
one
6
hundred
thirty
thousand
miles
until
December
31,
2021,
one
7
hundred
twenty
thousand
miles
during
calendar
year
2022,
one
8
hundred
ten
thousand
miles
during
calendar
year
2023,
and
one
9
hundred
thousand
miles
beginning
on
and
after
January
1,
2024.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
the
department
of
public
safety

shall
provide
that
state
patrol
vehicles
be
replaced
once
the
15
mileage
reaches
a
specified
mileage
limit.
The
bill
provides
16
that
the
mileage
limit
is
130,000
until
December
31,
2021,
17
120,000
for
calendar
year
2022,
110,000
for
calendar
year
2023,
18
and
100,000
beginning
on
and
after
January
1,
2024.
