1.
MEDICAL
AID
PROVIDED
TO
PRISONERS
OF
COUNTY

JAILS.
The
Iowa
state
sheriffs’
and
deputies’
association,
2
the
Iowa
state
association
of
counties,
and
the
Iowa
hospital
3
association
shall
review
current
processes
for
payment
of
4
medical
aid
provided
to
prisoners
of
county
jails
under
5
chapters
356
and
804.
The
groups
shall
consider
and
propose
6
recommendations
related
to
prisoner
payment
and
responsibility,
7
cooperative
payment
processes,
and
payment
rates,
and
shall
8
submit
a
report
including
proposed
recommendations
for
9
improvements
in
the
processes
to
the
general
assembly
by
10
December
15,
2019.

requires
the
