otherwise
exempted,
competent

instruction
in
accordance
with
this
chapter

who

the
child

instruction

is
not
competent
private
instruction,
or
otherwise

to
comply
with
the
requirements
of

assistance
program
in
accordance

subject
to
exempt
from
the
provisions

EXPLANATION

This
bill
establishes
an
exemption
from
the
compulsory

education
provisions
of
Code
chapter
299
and
the
competent

private
instruction
provisions
of
Code
chapter
299A
for
22
persons
who
place
their
child
under
private
instruction
but
do
23
not
enroll
the
child
in
a
public
school
for
dual
enrollment
24
purposes
or
in
a
home
school
assistance
program.
