Summary

Amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that residents of specified counties and municipalities may petition for binding backdoor referenda questions on whether to prohibit ordinances authorizing the use of automated traffic law enforcement systems. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the use of automated traffic law enforcement systems under the Code is subject to specified provisions of the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code.
