Summary

Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the Veterans' Prosthesis Fund as a special fund in the State treasury. Provides that moneys in the Fund shall be used by the Department of Veterans' Affairs for the purpose of making grants to Illinois veterans to update and replace the veteran's existing prosthesis. Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act to create a tax checkoff for the Veterans' Prosthesis Fund. Effective immediately.
