Summary

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the Department of Transportation shall develop a statistical analysis program for a municipality or county operating an automated traffic law enforcement system to assess the safety impact of the system. Provides guidelines for the type of data that shall be collected and requires the municipality or county to submit an annual report to the Department. The Department shall publish the report on its website 30 days after receipt from the municipality or county. Effective January 1, 2017.
