Summary
Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that on and after January 1, 2017, an insurer that issues health insurance in the State of Illinois must provide each member covered under a policy or plan with a benefits identification card. Provides that the benefits identification card shall include the member's name, account tracking number, copayment and coinsurance amounts, and contact information for the insurer. Effective immediately.
