Summary
Amends the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that, on or before July 1, 2025, the Department of Transportation may, subject to appropriation, create and implement a Type II Noise Suppression Program to provide noise abatement on existing highways in the State. Effective July 1, 2024.
