Summary

Amends the Nursing Home Care Act. Provides that a facility may request that a guardian designate in writing a representative to act on the guardian's behalf if, in an emergency, the facility cannot locate the guardian by telephone. Provides that the guardian may specify in writing the circumstances under which the guardian's representative may act. Effective immediately.
