Summary
Amends the Prenatal Syphilis Act. In provisions concerning blood testing of pregnant women, provides that the period for the taking of a second sample of blood during the third trimester of pregnancy is between 27 and 32 weeks, and provides that the purpose of the taking of a second sample of blood during the third trimester of pregnancy is to ensure treatment begins 30 days before delivery.
