Bill Title: Amends the Property Tax Extension Limitation Law in the Property Tax Code. Provides that, if a taxing district's actual aggregate extension for any levy year is less than its maximum aggregate extension under that Law for that levy year, then, in any of the next 5 levy years, the district may provide that its maximum aggregate extension and limiting rate for any levy year occurring on or after the date the ordinance or resolution is passed shall be calculated as though the taxing district had used its entire maximum aggregate extension for the levy year in which its actual extension was reduced, subject to a public hearing. Effective immediately.
